While the National Rex Rabbit Club is the only national specialty club chartered with the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) with the objective of promoting, encouraging, and improving the breeding and advancement of the Rex rabbit, a number of regional and state clubs operate with the same goals in mind. In addition to sponsoring Rex Specialty Shows across the nation, many of these clubs run their own sweepstakes contests in addition to the contest held each year by the NRRC.

Avid Rex enthusiasts find that membership in a state or regional Rex club, along with membership in the NRRC, provides an added dimension to their efforts at breeding and exhibiting quality Rex.
